A happy and proud camper with Hanword Viewer!
Im a recent convert to Mac. Occasionally I write in Korean and receive hwp documents. With Hangul 2006 for Mac, although its speed wasnt anything I could write home about, I was able to manage my occasional needs: reading hwp documents, and writing in Korean with correct spelling and adequate word spacing. But alas, I was too quick to move on to Lion, and after which Hangul no more--I thought. You wont believe how incredibly happy and proud I was to find the Hanword viewer in the App store! More, a free and a timely update!
Of course, I still have to write in Korean in the dark without a spell checker and with uncertainties. It would be so nice if something like a "tiny Hanword editor" becomes available for Mac Lion. It would mean IMHO a clear recognition of the beauty and science of the Hangul writing system. With a Hanword editor for Mac, I believe there will be many more willing converts to Mac, which is definitely easier and safer to use. (You can trust me on this. Ive been a Windows person for decades.) Id like to echo what the other reviewer (danew) so appropriately said: "한검사에 꼭 검토를 부탁드립니다."
